Both a passionate and honest person, Seth's key trait is his mixture of persistence and smarts. Always pursuing a goal, but smart enough to know when to back down on most occasions. With his father involved in Striaton’s police force and mother working as a prosecutor, one would naturally assume this is where Seth attained a strong sense of justice and an unmatched ability to pick apart someone’s character. As time developed and Seth undertook the role as a semi-freelance journalist, that passion birthed two traits earning him the title “Blue Pest” by criminals and law-enforcement alike: abrasiveness and patience. No matter what obstacle is thrown his way, Seth perseveres for the sake of his articles illustrating nothing but truths. Naturally, he harbors a strong distaste for anyone who tries to muddy up news by virtue of entertainment. Throughout his years, however, that sense of justice diminished. It didn’t take a genius to know this profession was a cruel one - he’d never feign ignorance to such. Therefore, Seth isn’t above using underhanded methods to secure valuable information for his articles. Lastly, Seth’s outlook on battles is that they come second to his job and overall are very unimportant.
- Seth has always been fascinated by the extraterrestrial.
- He's a particularly good shot with a pistol due to his father teaching him how to shoot.
- Due to his job being a quite dangerous one when gathering information on certain subjects, he keeps a Model 60 within his jacket just in case.
- Not quite being a fan of battles, Seth often opts out of participating in them if given the choice.
- He's never had interest in the whole Pokemon gym aspect of being a Trainer.
- Favorite drink is unsweetened tea.
- Seth's mother and father were named "Elizabeth" and "Adam".
- He often doesn't keep his Pokemon in Pokeballs unless a scenario calls for it, allowing them to roam around the city while he carries out his own affairs.
- Is a well-trained shot and owns a pistol. However, this is often concealed and hardly ever shown to others. It is a last resort and on most occassions doesn't leave his jacket.

Early Life: Born into a respectable family in Striaton City, Seth’s childhood stretched hardly beyond the norm. And yet, he enjoyed that. While there was the occasional mockery of his girlish looks, he never truly let it bother him. His parents also held honest jobs, with his father being a police officer and his mother being a prosecutor. Sadly, suxh led to a busy life for both parents arriving home from work at late times or just sometimes not being around entirely. Consequently, this led to Seth discovering independence at an early age. He didn’t resent his mother nor father, knowing their jobs were important and that sacrifices needed to be made - that much was only further understood as he got older.By the age of 10, Seth’s father came home with a gift - an apology, if anything. It was a Porygon. During an arrest, a surplus was stored for malicious purposes by the apprehended criminals. Likely some type of massive cyber-attack. The criminals were busted and all that was left were their hoarding of Porygons, having been told to simply release them, Seth’s father asked if he could take one in. With permission being granted, the Porygon, who was nicknamed “Polyente” by Seth became the future journalist’s first Pokemon.Whereas most kids his age dreamed of becoming a trainer, Seth saw differently. For years, he’d always have an interest in the media, seeing how it operated and what went on behind the scenes. Picking up a job as a newspaper boy, Seth’s first steps were set. Over the years, Seth moved his way up by working for Striaton’s tabloid newspaper center named “Multi-Type News”, a small company that mainly publicized in the city. Somewhere in between the age of 14-16, Seth had caught a Ghastly he nicknamed “Geist” during a night out delivering papers. Geist later evolved into a Haunter and has remained that way since.Moving into Castelia City when reaching the age of 18, Seth finally achieved his dream of becoming a journalist by working for the city’s news organization “Daily Castel” mixed in with freelancing. Quickly becoming renowned for his work and methods of gaining information from criminals and law-enforcement, Seth earned the moniker of “Blue Pest” for his persistence. Despite this, he’d never bend the truth of an article, nor take requests for stories that had no factual evidence behind them. During his stay in Castelia City, Seth acquired the two final Pokemon to his team: a Zoura and Elgyem. Now at the age of 21, Seth often takes up the more dangerous reports, digging his nose into subjects most journalists wouldn’t dare approach out of fear. Alas, he’d realize just how cruel this business could be, and thus impacted Seth’s once righteous sense of justice. While he’d never conform to the typical practice of stretching truths, the young journalist wasn’t beyond using underhanded methods to gain information. Even wiping away the memories of those providing him information so his stories through his Beheeyem.

| Porygon-Z | Polyente | N/A | Adaptability |
Originally intended to take part in a mass cyber-attack on Unova's network grid, Polyente as a Porygon was found alongside a collection of others in a warehouse by Stration's police force - one of them being Seth's father. After the arrest, Adam alongside the other police were instructed to simply release them back into the wild. However, Adam made a proposal to take one back home, seeing no issue with this, he was given permission to do so. He intended for this to not only be Seth's first Pokemon, but more importantly, an apology. Both him and Elizabeth often came back home late or not be home at all. Despite knowing Seth didn't resent them for this, Adam felt it was still an appropriate apology.Polyente came with a rather timid personality, backing away from whenever Seth attempted to pet him, but overtime these behaviors would soften and they'd become rather close throughout the years. For a Porgyon to evolve, it'd require alterations to its coding, and such had been done the first time by aid of Seth's father.Polyente's final evolution was achieved during one of Seth's excursions for information, ironically enough during his attempt to hack through a system. Assisting him, Polyente went into the network and by the end of it came out as a Porygon-Z.

| Haunter | Geist | Female | Levitate |
Geist was Seth's second Pokemon, encountered through far more stereotypical means. While Seth was delivering papers early in the morning than usual, he encountered a Ghastly. Due to Polyente(who was still a Porgyon at the time), he chose to battle it, and ended up catching it.Geist has always been a rash Pokemon through and through, leading to conflict between Polyente and her very often. However, Seth appreciates this trait as it somewhat reflects his own rashness towards journalism. Always heading into a situation without weighing all options, Polyente very regularly trying to restrain from stepping into cases that may be a bit too much for the team.Later on, Geist evolved into a Haunter and hasn't changed since. Mostly due to Seth preferring Haunter's look over a Gengar.Geist's traits shine during investigations, though. Whenever needed, Geist provides distractions through her ghostly properties so that Seth can either snag something from whoever or make an escape.

| Beheeyem | Erinnerung | Male | Synchronize |
Encountered at Celestial Tower when Seth was doing an article on the location, he met Erinnerung while it was still an Elgyem. Unlike Geist, Erinnerung seemingly joined completely willingly, as he expressed great interest in Seth the moment they crossed paths. Quickly discovering Erinnerung's calm nature reminded him of the movies that displayed aliens as reasonable and collected lifeforms, rather than the suspected tyrants humans assumed them to be.Errinerung evolved in battle when Seth had been threatened with silencing by one of the targets he was investigating, therein discovering the ability to retroactively alter or erase a target's memory. Least to say, such an ability became valued by Seth and is often used whenever he needs to cover up any tracks. Furthermore, Seth even sometimes uses it on himself to ward off any unfavorable experiences.

| Zoroark | Fesseln | Male | Illusion |
Seth's last known Pokemon, Fesslen naturally stands out as an oddball among the group. Not only does its appearance contrast the levitation-theme his team possesses, but also an innate love for battle. Having the will to take on even the largest of foes such as a Tyranitar or Hydreigon. Often more than not, Fesslen is allowed to roam in forest areas while Seth tends to his own job, but will sometimes accompany him. Brave being an apt term to describe Fesseln, being the young journalist's go-to whenever he's thrown into battle. First encountered as a Zoura when visiting a location called the "White Forest", a mysterious place rumored to change drastically overtime. Fesslen was seemingly lost, having likely been separated from his pack and clearly starved. Giving shelter to the lost Zoura, it later chose to join Seth for now, knowing trying to track down its pack alone would've been a death sentence.Later evolving into a Zoroark, Fesseln stands to be the most protective of Seth and will appear as soon as he senses any threat happening to his trainer.Out of the group, Fessel is the illusionist; casting trickery upon people's minds to make certain task far easier for his blue-haired trainer.
